WWF: Forever Loud

WWF: Forever Loud

Project Overview

Problem Underwater noise levels today are louder than Times Square. Humans never hear it, so we never care. Insight Humans already hate certain noises. Construction drills. Bus brakes. Train screeches. Leaf blowers. But whales hear a much worse version of these same noises. Big idea Forever Loud We exaggerate the noises people already hate to let them feel what whales live with underwater. Executions We hijacked the loudest moments of daily city life and compared them to the far louder noise whales live in. OOH at construction sites, subways, bus stops, and Times Square. A hero film captured the shock of amplified human noises before showing whales enduring even worse. Social noise experiments showed everyday people reacting to exaggerated sounds, then learning the underwater truth.
